The Delivery Coordinator position is responsible for all the deliveries in the store and will need to be knowledgeable on all aspects of shipping and receiving. Responsibilities include scheduling all home deliveries, LTL’s and FedEx shipments, ensuring orders are released to the proper carrier, printing and working the EComm Shipping Report, staging all outbound deliveries with proper shipping documents, detailing receiving all inbound PO shipments, managing orders under Shipping Info Required and Shipping Tabs, validating shipments delivered the previous day, picking, receiving, locating and calling customers for inbound R&L shipments, validating outgoing IST’s and communicating with warehouse supervisor and command center associate about delivery issues. The role requires knowledge of basic math, ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure, forklift operation, and basic shipping and receiving knowledge. The work environment is a warehouse with moderate noise and moving vehicles, with potential travel to other stores. Physical requirements include lifting 25 pounds or more consistently and ability to sit, squat or stand for long periods.
