Job Summary The Assistant Manager, Guest Experience is a key part of the store leadership team, responsible for leading from the floor to ensure our team members and guests receive a high-quality experience daily. They build, manage, and develop team members, fostering a culture of belonging and growth, and ensuring outstanding guest service aligned with company values and directives. Core Responsibilities Leadership and People Management Create an inclusive team environment that celebrates differences and promotes support and fun. Engage team members by clarifying how their work supports store and company success. Implement and cascade the Store Manager’s People vision. Support hiring and building a diverse team with varied backgrounds and skills. Provide ongoing development, coaching, and feedback to team members. Lead performance management activities and address concerns appropriately. Handle employee concerns, partnering with support when needed. Guest Experience and Community Lead an exceptional guest experience through connection and product education. Make in-the-moment decisions for efficient store operations. Resolve guest feedback and issues, ensuring guest satisfaction. Operations, Product, and Strategy Review business metrics to inform planning. Maintain visual merchandising standards. Open and close the store per procedures. Adhere to safety policies and legal requirements. Budget Responsibility Manage aspects of the store budget and labor hours. Job Requirements Eligibility Legal authorization to work in the store’s country. Reliable transportation to the store. Schedule/Availability Variable schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Experience At least 1 year of people management experience. At least 1 year of leadership experience managing operations and projects. Preferred Assets High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in retail management and recruiting. Work Context Work environment includes bright lights and loud music. Requires team interaction and independent work. Involves conflict management and guest issue resolution. Requires physical movement within the store and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs. Compensation & Benefits Base pay: $27.31 - $36.95/hour, plus a target bonus of 25%. Total target range: $34.14 - $46.19/hour. Includes benefits such as health, dental, mental health plans, paid time off, retirement matching, employee discounts, and more.
