LOCATION

SUMMARY

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the efficient daily operation of the warehouse, focusing on managing warehouse personnel and implementing action plans. Responsibilities include tracking equipment hours, ensuring maintenance schedules are followed, and conducting employee meetings.

Working hours are generally Monday - Friday, 7AM-5PM.

Role you will play:

  1. Oversee safe, clean, and efficient warehouse operations to meet service standards.
  2. Supervise and allocate labor to ensure adequate coverage.
  3. Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
  4. Train, motivate, and develop warehouse staff.
  5. Implement shipping/receiving schedules for operational efficiency.
  6. Manage warehouse equipment and supplies, coordinating maintenance with vendors.
  7. Supervise inbound/outbound shipments for accuracy and timeliness.
  8. Maintain customer relationships and attend client meetings.
  9. Recommend process improvements to enhance performance.
  10. Require 3+ years of supervisory experience in a multi-client 3PL warehouse or distribution facility.
  11. Experience in hospitality, FF&E, or furniture logistics is a plus.
  12. Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (CargoWise preferred).
  13. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, warehouse/mechanical equipment, and regulations (OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, FDA).
  14. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with shifting priorities.
  15. Experience with performance metrics and process improvements.
  16. Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  17. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  18. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
  19. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  20. Physically capable of standing/walking for 10-12 hours, lifting/moving up to 50 lbs., and performing bending, stretching, and reaching tasks.
  21. Valid driver’s license and ability to make deliveries.

Preferred Skills

  1. Experience with seasonal workforce management.
  2. Willingness to certify in OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, or FDA compliance.
  3. Familiarity with variable noise, lighting, and temperature conditions in warehouse environments.

COMPENSATION

  • $85,000 – 100,000 annual base salary
