Established in 1938, the First Baptist Church of Clewiston is a traditional Southern Baptist Church, dedicated to teaching and equipping individuals and families through the preaching, and teaching of God’s word. As a congregation, we believe in the Articles of Faith as declared in the June 14, 2000, Baptist Faith and Message in its entirety.
Nestled on the southwest side of Lake Okeechobee, we are a small rural church with a warm and welcoming congregation, predominantly made up of older members who share a deep connection to our faith and our community.
We are prayerfully seeking the man God has called to lead our congregation and fill the position of full-time pastor.
Preferably, the applicant should possess a degree from a Baptist Seminary and have experience in all levels of church administration and ministries. Additionally, the candidate should be qualified in scripture as outlined in Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9
