Job Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the operations supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Worcester, MA

Pay Range: $20.50 per hour

Shift: Days (05:00-13:30)

What's the Job?

• Perform a full range of material handling duties, including selecting and moving specialized bulk and bin materials.
• Set up complex equipment and material configurations for production as needed.
• Operate mechanized equipment, including forklifts, to unload and stack materials.
• Check inventory levels on the production floor and supply operators with materials as needed.
• Record weights of materials or products accurately on tags, labels, or production schedules.

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to operate lifting devices and manually move materials or equipment.
• Basic computer skills to access and update inventory records.
• Knowledge of safe handling and storage of materials, especially hazardous ones.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures.
