POSITION PURPOSE
An Inside Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of GMA products into a specific geographic territory, utilizing the phone and electronic communication methods. The ISR is accountable for both the new business development and account management (retention) functions. The ISR will operate in partnership with one or more Regional Sales Managers and will service accounts/leads/prospects that have been assigned as part of the RSM’s account management plan.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |

Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Contact existing customers to ensure satisfaction and to secure future orders.
2. Contact existing customers to develop upselling and/or cross-selling opportunities.
3. Assist in the speedy resolution of customer concerns or complaints.
4. Provide value to customers and prospects by understanding their needs/wants, and recommending a GMA product that is the best solution.
5. Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager, and Sales Leadership Team, to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns, and offerings.
6. Facilitate account hand-offs to Regional Sales Manager when appropriate, ensuring a smooth transition.
7. Collaborate with Logistics and Client relations team to ensure continuity of customer service.
8. Ensure reporting and communication is frequent and bi-directional.
9. Prospect, qualify leads, and generates sales within the company’s established markets.
10. Telephone prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline. Engage in technical discussions with potential clients.
11. Collect and report competitive information to the team.
12. Maintain customer, prospect, and lead information in CRM program, including activity notes and contact information.
13. Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on industry trends, new product development, product applications, and competitive landscape.
14. Prepares regular activity reports from CRM.
15. Other duties as required.

SKILLS AND SELECTION CRITERIA | RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
· Punctual, meticulous and reliable
SKILLS AND SELECTION CRITERIA | ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
· High school diploma or equivalent, or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS |
· This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
