Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer with expertise in Data Migration to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow ITSM development and implementation, with a focus on data migration processes.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Experience as a ServiceNow ITSM Developer, implementing modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management, Service Catalog, Mobile App, Virtual Agent.
• Ability to configure ServiceNow ITSM applications according to approved design plans.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies including unit testing, system integration testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Proficiency in developing ServiceNow solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, Web Services, XML, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with SQL queries and LDAP queries for database connections to Oracle, MySQL, and Active Directory.
• Experience creating repeatable processes for development, testing, staging, and production environments with high availability.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and basic knowledge of ITIL standards.
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork.
• Participation in planning meetings and providing constructive feedback.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Experience with Service Catalog module and creating custom applications.
2. Creating request forms, integrating external systems, implementing security measures, and UI enhancements.
3. Implementing custom widgets and backend scripting.
4. Configuring Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and other platform functionalities.
5. Developing integrations via APIs and web services.
6. Managing workflows, SLAs, Import Sets, and Data Migration tasks.
7. Creating Record Producers and Catalog Items.
8. Scheduling jobs, events, and triggers as per business needs.
9. Understanding ITSM and ITOM processes.
10. Providing training and support to business users.
11. Ensuring adherence to SDLC and best practices.
