Cherry Picker Forklift Driver

Client in Fuquay Varina looking for a Cherry Picker Forklift driver.

M-F from 8:00-5:00 with an hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks-OT as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Cherry Picker lift to pick large or bulk items from warehouse racking and staging areas.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment according to order specifications using RF scanners or pick sheets.
• Ensure accuracy of picked items, correct labeling, and proper handling of sensitive or oversized products.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures for forklift operations and warehouse conduct.
• Load and unload pallets or materials from trailers, staging areas, or storage racks.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts, replenishment, and warehouse cleanliness.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of picked and moved inventory in the warehouse management system.
• Work in coordination with shipping, receiving, and packaging teams to support warehouse efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in bulk picking or order fulfillment.
• Experience working in correctional supply, industrial supply, or general distribution warehouses.
• Basic understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS).

Requirements:

• 1+ year of forklift operation experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Ability to lift, move, and carry items up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Familiarity with warehouse RF scanners or basic computer systems preferred.
• Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods and in varying warehouse conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Base Pay: 17.00 - 18.00
