Crown’s Food Division is the number one manufacturer of food cans in the world. Our complete array of food packaging serves a variety of markets, including fruit, vegetables, dairy, fish, meat, ready meals, pet food, infant milk powder and other dry food products. Location:
Plant 37 is located in Hanover, PA. The Plant manufactures 2-piece and 3-piece steel cans for the food industry. There are approximately 95 employees at the Hanover location. The Hanover Plant is located on Route 194 in York County and is in close proximity to York, PA, Gettysburg, PA and the Maryland border.
Position Overview:
Through the operation and maintenance of appropriate systems, ensure that a) cans are properly cleaned and wash coated, b) water effluent released from the plant meets regulatory criteria for water quality and c) coolant/lubricant used in can formation meets specifications. This position is scheduled 5:00pm-5:00am on a yearly rotational schedule. The hourly rate of pay starts at $29.83.
