FamilyCaregiverNY.com, in partnership with Anchor Health Homecare Services, helps caring individuals like you become certified and paid through New York State’s PCA and OPWDD Medicaid programs.

What We Offer

• Free, same-day PCA certification (no experience required)

• Weekly pay: 19.10 per hour to $21 per hour.

• Flexible hours — full-time or part-time

• Step-by-step help from eligibility to paycheck

• Full support with Medicaid and assessments

• Opportunities through both PCA and OPWDD programs

Who Can Be a Paid Family Caregiver (PCA Program)

You may qualify if you want to care for your:

• Brother or sister

• Grandchild

• Cousin

• Niece or nephew

• Brother-in-law or sister-in-law

• Close family friend

Not eligible: Spouse, son, daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, or legal guardian (per New York State rules)

If you are not eligible, another family member may be. We can help them apply.

OPWDD Program Eligibility

If your loved one has a developmental disability, they may qualify under the OPWDD waiver program.
With this program, only parents and legal guardians can not be paid caregivers, but other relatives may qualify.

How the Process Works

3. We help with Medicaid if needed

4. We schedule assessments

5. You receive same-day PCA certification

6. You start getting paid to provide care at home
